Dua faktor ini harus ada pada pelaku usaha agar usaha yang dijalankan bisa mengikuti tren pasar dan produk bisa berkembang.Permasalahan pada UMKM di kecamatan Sumberrejo adalah rendahnya kualitas SDM dan teknologi yang kurang merata, sehingga menyebabkan pemasaran kurang meluas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik kewirausahaan dan situs jejaring sosial mempengaruhi kinerja dari inovasi di UMKM Kecamatan Sumberrejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM), dengan alat analisis Partial Least Squares (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian pengusaha terhadap kinerja inovasi berpengaruh signifikan. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kepribadian proaktif dan kreatif pelaku usaha, maka semakin tinngi pula inovasinya. Pada situs jejaring sosial terhadap kinerja inovasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja inovasi. Hal ini dikarenakan media sosial menjadi sumber informasi pasar dan sarana kolaborasi.
