Air merupakan komponen vital bagi kehidupan manusia, hewan, dan tumbuhan. Oleh karena itu, petani perlu pengetahuan dan inovasi dalam pengelolaan air. Di Desa Jono Temayang, Bojonegoro, masalah kekeringan sangat dirasakan, terutama saat musim kemarau, karena irigasi masih bergantung pada sumur tadah hujan. Kelompok Tani Luhur di Desa Jono menanam padi, tembakau, dan jagung, namun mengalami kesulitan dalam penyediaan air irigasi yang cukup. Meskipun ada saluran irigasi, area sawah yang lebih tinggi sering kali kekurangan air. Petani menggunakan mesin pompa portabel yang membutuhkan BBM, namun dalam kondisi kekurangan air, mereka terpaksa menimba air secara manual. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pemanfaatan pompa air berbasis PLTS untuk mempermudah irigasi dan mengurangi penggunaan BBM.
