In this respect, a continuous discussion of foreign languages learning and the issues of being a polyglot should be nurtured. Drawing on the autoethnographic account of the author, this paper examines the practices of a polyglot in building international relations in the lens of multilingualism. I gathered data using textual and visual experiences in the form of written notes and images. The data were analyzed by using the three principal polyglot motivations; personal, professional and academic purposes in the view of international relation. This study unpacked a polyglot’s stories that a polyglot with the ability to speak many languages, can take a fundamental role for shaping the international network in terms of individual aim, professionalism and education purpose.
