	bibo:abstract "Penelitian ini membahas tinjauan hukum larangan tindakan pemasungan terhadap Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa (ODGJ) dalam perspektif Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaturan hukum mengenai larangan pemasungan serta mengkaji upaya pemerintah dalam memberikan perlindungan dan penanganan terhadap ODGJ. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konseptual melalui studi kepustakaan terhadap bahan hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 telah memberikan dasar hukum yang tegas terkait larangan pemasungan, penelantaran, dan kekerasan terhadap ODGJ serta menetapkan sanksi pidana bagi pelanggarnya, namun dalam implementasinya masih terdapat kesenjangan akibat faktor sosial, ekonomi, stigma masyarakat, dan keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan jiwa. Pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya seperti program Indonesia Bebas Pasung, layanan rehabilitasi, serta peningkatan akses pelayanan kesehatan jiwa. Kesimpulannya, diperlukan penguatan implementasi hukum, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat, dan optimalisasi layanan kesehatan jiwa agar perlindungan terhadap ODGJ dapat berjalan efektif dan berkelanjutan."^^xsd:string;
