Fluctuations in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), the Rupiah exchange rate, and inflation may affect investor confidence and stock price movements on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), the Rupiah exchange rate, and inflation on the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) in Indonesia during the period 2009-2024. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis based on 16 years of time-series data. The data used are secondary data obtained from the World Bank and Investing.com, and were processed using EViews 12 software. The results indicate that, partially, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and the Rupiah exchange rate have a positive and significant effect on the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI), while inflation has a negative and insignificant effect on the CSPI. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on the CSPI in Indonesia. These findings suggest that increasing foreign investment inflows, maintaining the stability of the Rupiah exchange rate, and controlling inflation are essential to sustaining investor confidence and supporting the stability and sustainable growth of Indonesia's capital market. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the government, investors, and academics in formulating policies and investment strategies related to the development of Indonesia's capital market. date: 2026-07-03 date_type: published full_text_status: restricted institution: Ekonomi department: Ekonomi Pembangunan thesis_type: bachelor thesis_name: sarjana citation: Isnaini Nur Laily, Laily (2026) Pengaruh Penanaman Modal Asing, Nilai Tukar Rupiah, dan Inflasi Terhadap Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) di Indonesia.
