Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling dan accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transparansi telah diterapkan melalui berbagai media informasi dan musyawarah desa, sedangkan akuntabilitas diwujudkan melalui penyusunan laporan pertanggungjawaban dan pengawasan secara berjenjang.
