Tingkat Adopsi Dan Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Penggunaan Teknologi Pertanian Combine Harvester Oleh Petani Padi di Desa Mojorejo Kecamatan Modo

The use of combine harvester technology is a form of agricultural mechanization that plays a role in increasing the efficiency of the harvesting process, reducing labor requirements, and minimizing crop losses. However, the adoption rate of this technology is still influenced by various socioeconomic factors affecting farmers. This study aims to analyze the adoption rate of combine harvesters and identify the factors influencing their adoption among rice farmers in Mojorejo Village, Modo Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 67 farmer respondents selected via simple random sampling. Data were collected through interviews using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using adoption index analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the adoption rate of combine harvesters falls into the “very high” category, with an adoption index value of 82.04%. The results of the partial tests show that the variables of cost, time and labor efficiency, access to information, and the role of extension workers have a positive and significant effect on the adoption rate, whereas educational level and land area do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, all independent variables had a significant effect on the adoption rate, with an F-calculated value of 103.059 (p < 0.001). The Adjusted R² value of 0.903 indicates that 90.3% of the variation in the adoption rate can be explained by the research model. These findings indicate that economic benefits, operational efficiency, ease of access to information, and extension agent support are the primary factors driving farmers to adopt combine harvester technology. Therefore, improving access to information and strengthening the role of extension agents need to be continuously optimized to accelerate the sustainable adoption of agricultural mechanization.
