Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of the average length of schooling, sex ratio, and productive age on the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) in Central Java Province, specifically in the Barlingmascakep area (Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, Banyumas, Cilacap, and Kebumen) during the 2018–2024 period. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using panel data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The independent variables include the average length of schooling (X1), sex ratio (X2), and productive age (X3), while the dependent variable is the LFPR (Y).The analysis results show that, partially, the average length of schooling and productive age have a significant effect on LFPR, while the sex ratio has no significant effect. Simultaneously, all three independent variables have a significant effect on LFPR. These findings indicate that improving the quality of education and optimizing the productive age population are key factors in increasing labor force participation. This study is expected to serve as a reference for local governments in formulating labor policies based on data and regional potential.
