ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PENDAPATAN DAN KELAYAKAN USAHATANI BUAH MELON ANTARA POLA KEMITRAAN DENGAN POLA USAHATANI MANDIRI

This study aims to analyze and compare the income and feasibility of melon farming between partnership and independent farming patterns in Ngumpakdalem Village, Dander Sub-district, Bojonegoro Regency. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach. A total of 7 farmers were involved as respondents, consisting of 4 independent farmers and 3 partner farmers. Primary data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from related institutions. The analytical tools used included income analysis and the R/C Ratio to assess farming feasibility. The results showed that independent farmers obtained a higher income of IDR 261,514,500/ha with an R/C Ratio of 4.81, while partner farmers earned IDR 170,014,800/ha with an R/C Ratio of 2.80. Although both patterns are feasible (R/C > 1), the independent farming pattern proved to be more profitable and efficient. These findings indicate that independent melon farming provides better economic returns and can be a strategic choice for increasing farmer welfare when supported by strong management and market access.
