Abstract

This study aims to the feasibility of rice farming with technical irrigation systems and pumping irrigation systems in Kliteh Village, Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency. This study uses a Purposive Sampling sampling technique, the population of rice farmers using technical irrigation systems is 101, and pumping irrigation systems are 105, the determination of the number of samples uses the Slovin formula. The number of samples for technical irrigation systems is 50, and for pumping irrigation systems is 51. To compare the two, determine the
cost of farming including total production costs, revenue, income, and feasibility using the R/C Ratio, BEP, and Profitability. After obtaining these results, they are compared with descriptive analysis. The results of the R/C Ratio of farmers using pumping irrigation systems get a greater R/C Ratio than farmers using technical irrigation systems. The BEP results of farmers with pumping irrigation systems get a lower break-even point than farmers with technical irrigation systems. So farmers with pumping irrigation systems reach the break-even point faster. Profitability results: Farmers with pump irrigation systems get higher profits compared to technical irrigation systems.
