Abstract
The increasing demand for heavy equipment rentals, particularly cranes, and the shortening of project time retention have placed more pressure on crane operators. This condition triggers a rise in workload, potentially leading to fatigue and decreased work effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the workload levels of crane operators and identify potential overload. The methods used in this study are the Defense Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) and the Modified Cooper Harper Scales (MCH). The results show that using the DRAWS method, 14 operators experienced overload, and only 1 operator was working with an optimal load. Meanwhile, the MCH method identified 5 activities with excessive load, 9 operators working with optimal load, and 2 activities considered optimal as normal. In conclusion, improvements in workload management are needed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of crane operators.
